Correspondence
by E-mail
Further to the recent article in the December
Newsletter, the Branch are collating members e-mail address with a view
that future correspondence may be e-mailed to members. In addition to
saving a significant amount on postage, stationery, and staff time, it will
also mean we are able to get information out to members much more quickly
than at present.
The Branch uses a National membership system and
work is currently being undertaken to ensure that those members who request
correspondence via e-mail will do so, and more importantly, not receive
another copy in the mail as well.
The introduction of the system will depend on the
Regional and National Office and may take a few months. In the meantime in
order to help us get our records up to date, if you are happy to receive
future correspondence by e-mail once the new system is finalised, please
e-mail the Branch Office giving your e-mail address unison@nottinghamcity.gov.uk
