14 January 2014
Nottingham City Council has announced plans to cut staff terms and conditions, and make further redundancies as part of its budget proposals for 2014. UNISON will be opposing these plans. Our members have paid enough in previous cuts to jobs, freezing of incremental pay and years of no 'cost of living' pay increases (...but MP's meanwhile are offered an 11% pay increase!!!). Now the council want to end essential car user payments and review who gets overtime and allowances, amongst other measures, which will impact on staff pay packets yet again.

Be active in your union to fight these proposals. We have arranged a number of meetings (details attached) so that you can tell UNISON your views.
