Retired Members

We have an active Retired Members Section who meet bi-monthly at the New Mechanics on North Sherwood Street. These meetings have not been taking place during the pandemic, but they recently started up again virtually, and we hope they will start meeting up in person again in the near future.

UNISON retired members receive membership benefits which can save them money on a wide range of services. UNISONdirect is still available to you. It can provide out of hours information and access to membership services and benefits, including legal services and welfare. Legal services include a free will service and fixed cost conveyancing among other things. Further information is available at https://benefits.unison.org.uk/
